A key part of this project is about extending this partnership, increasing the range and quality of services available and improving opportunities for access and referral. We recomend that anyone seeking help and support arising from the imprisonment of a family member or friend makes use of the free national helpline, managed by Action for Prisoners' Families

Offenders' families in need of help rarely present one particular problem. Therefore, we will be working to find ways of discreetly assessing family needs and joining up services. This will include consulting with families to better identify difficulties they experience in getting help, finding out what types of services they need and the ways they would prefer to access them.
